ISSUE #1: JANUARY 2026

Hi. Hello. Welcome.

You’re here because you either (a) know me, (b) were curious, or (c) accidentally clicked something. Either way, I’m glad.

This is Fravorites, a place where I share stuff I love.
No stars, no rankings. Just enthusiasm.

I’ll share a few things that have been making my life a little brighter, a little easier, or a little more fun.

Thirty Seconds to Melt

Bruder Eye Mask

I have purchased nineteen of these since March 2020.
Nineteen. I checked my order history.

You microwave it for 30 seconds, put it on your face, and melt. It’s a warm, heavy weight on your eyes. Because you can’t see, you can’t distract yourself. No phone. No to-do list. Just you.

I use it before bed. After too many hours on a screen. Anytime I need to trick my brain into calming down.

I’ve given these to stressed friends and family. I’ve made guests lie on my couch and try one. Heat goes on. Melting begins.

There are cuter options out there. Lavender, Etsy, the works.
I keep coming back to this weird medical one.

Poetry for People Who Didn’t Know They Liked Poetry

A Bit Much – by Lyndsay Rush

Lyndsay Rush writes under @maryoliversdrunkcousin on Instagram, and I’ve probably liked and shared more of her posts than any other account. Her poems are honest, silly, real, empathetic, but mostly funny.

The book, a USA Today bestseller, is named after her most viral poem, which reframes “a bit much” from insult to celebration. As someone who is a bit much, this one hit different. Especially the ending: “Aren’t we so lucky she’s here?”

Permission to be exactly who you are. Messy, loud, quiet, overcaring, oversharing. Whatever you need to be.

I’ve bought five copies. I keep giving them away.

A Little Fancy.
For Absolutely No Reason.

Spa Roll Towels

I learned this from staying at a friend’s house. All their towels were spa rolled, neatly stacked in a basket. It made their bathroom feel like, well, a spa.

I wanted to leave things the way I found them, so I looked up a TikTok to learn how. Then, just for fun, I rolled all of their towels. Even the hand towels and face cloths they don’t do. The little ones were so cute.

The trick with a spa roll is that the towel tucks into itself and actually stays wrapped. You can toss it around like a hotdog. It’s a better way to store them. And it’s fun.

Now I do it at home. It’s silly. A little fancy. A little like adult origami. For absolutely no reason.

Thanks for being here. Seriously.
This idea has been rattling around in my head for a decade and I finally just… did it. Having you along for this weird little adventure is the best part.

Just one girl • Just for fun • Probably a little too enthusiastic
